I’m a self-taught surface pattern designer from Spain. I was a creative girl as a child. However, instead of pursuing an artistic career, I studied Biology. While doing research on monkeys I lived in countries such as Argentina, Germany and Madagascar.
I didn’t reconnect with my artistic side until I took a sewing course. Finding prints that I liked in traditional fabric stores was difficult and so I started to design my own prints. I feel proud of my scientific background and I like showing it in my art.
My patterns are full of animals and elements of nature, but I also love a challenge and enjoy creating conversational and geometric prints.
